How Trophy Wife Connection handles your data

The short version

Safety is everything on this site. To keep members safe, our safety team can review what happens on the platform — including conversations, photos, and Match Check answers. Your match never sees your individual answers, only your alignment scores. Everything we can see, and why, is spelled out below.

What we collect

Your account details (name, email, age, city and — if you add it — ZIP code), your profile content and photos (public and private), your messages, your likes/favorites/blocks/reports, your Match Check participation and alignment scores, and technical logs: IP addresses, sign-in history, pages visited, and actions taken on the site. ZIP codes are converted to approximate coordinates to power distance search.

What our safety team can see — and why

Conversations. Site administrators can read messages between members. Every message is also scanned automatically for illegal content and common scams (payment requests, off-platform pushes, suspicious links). Flagged conversations are reviewed by a human. Admin access to conversations is logged internally.

Photos. Administrators can view every photo on the platform, including private albums, to enforce our content rules and verify members. Other members can only ever see your private photos when you match mutually.

Activity. Administrators can see sign-in history, IP addresses, and activity logs for any account. This is how we detect fake profiles, scammers, and banned users returning under new names.

Match Check answers. Your match never sees your individual answers — they only ever see the alignment scores. For safety and quality assurance, our team may review individual answers. They are handled confidentially and used only to keep the community safe and honest. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; nobody can read them.

Location privacy

If you add a ZIP code, other members see only a rounded distance ("12 mi away" — never less precise than "under 5 mi") and your city. Your ZIP and coordinates are never displayed to other members.

Emails we send

Notification emails (new message, new like, match-check invite) never include message content or member details — inboxes aren't private. Each type can be turned off in your account settings or with the one-click unsubscribe link in every email.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number when you join, we send a one-time account verification code by text so we can confirm the number is yours. These are transactional messages tied to your sign-up and sign-in — we do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies (typically one code per verification). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts may prevent us from verifying and approving your account. We never sell or share your mobile number, and mobile information is never shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is never shown to other members.

Retention & deletion

Match Check answers: retained for safety review and removed if you delete your account. You can delete your account yourself (Account → Delete my account): your profile, photos, likes and pending invites are removed, and your account is scrubbed to an anonymous tombstone. Safety records (reports, moderation flags, and technical logs) may be retained after deletion to protect other members and comply with law.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't show your email to other members. We don't send your private data to third-party AI services — automated conversation-safety scanning sends message text only (no names or profiles) to the moderation service when one is configured, and Match Check insights are generated from alignment scores alone.
